What I Do?

My aim…I want to help people in pain, out of pain, free up your joints and get you moving better. Whether it’s pain or discomfort that has been bothering you for a while or something you just woke up with. Whether you are someone who loves working out, or stuck working behind a desk or works with tools all day, then Myotherapy is for you.

How You Ask…

It’s simply, we will have a chat about what has been going, this may involve a postural assessment and any movement restriction that you may feel or have. Devise a treatment plan to treat the area that is causing you pain or discomfort but more importantly work out where your pain or discomfort is coming from and ensure it doesn’t return. We will work together to meet your needs and your goals and restore normal movement and function for you.

Your treatment will involve hands-on approach from myself, your practitioner, using specific techniques, such as Deep Tissue Massage, Dry Needling, Myofascial Release, Joint Mobilisations and Cupping to target muscle, joints and nerves but it will also involve an active role from yourself, in following prescribed strengthening exercises and/or some simple daily stretches.
